ToXml of empty elements

Hello,
 
Is it possible to tell the method ToXml to not output empty elements?
For example, instead of outputting <Cdtr/> I would like to output nothing.
Is this possible?

Hi,

If you make the element optional in the XSD, it will not be written out if it is empty.
