Excel Data Writer
Question asked by Patrice Ardouin - 9/16/2021 at 10:58 AM

Hello,
I don't understand why I can't modify Excel Data Writer after it is created. I get the error message "An error occurred executing the transform: object reference is not defined to an object instance" :
There is no properties windows as shown here in the help site : Excel Target (liquid-technologies.com)
I must delete the previous one and create another... and recreate all links. Impossible to change anything..

The same issue occurs when there is columns of Excel Writer that are not linked to anything...

Other point : the "Write colums name" option is not effective ??? : data are written but no columns names are written..

I reinstalled Liquid Studio 2021 = no change, same issue
I reinstalled Visual Studio 2019 Community and all .NET SDK = no change, same issue

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi,

The Properties error is a known issue and has been fixed in the next release, and the 'Write Column Names' is a new issue but has now also been fixed.

The new version should be available later next week.

Thank you !
I hope the next release will be downloadable as soon as possible...I have a lot of mappings xml-->excel end excel-->xml to do quickly..
Is there another way to download a patch or a RC version very very soon ?
Best regards

Hi,

These issues have now been resolved and are available in the new release (19.0.11) as an auto-update when you run the product, or directly from our web site:
