libpcre dependency
Question asked by Jason Harper - 1/6/2025 at 8:32 PM
Answered
We own licenses to Liquid XML Data Binder 2015 and purchased USPP valid through 2017.

Some of our OS vendors no longer supply libpcre and have moved onto libpcre2 which has been available since 2015.

Does Liquid XML provide a version of their product with libpcre2 support?

Regards,
Brad

Hi Brad,

We will look at moving to PCRE2 for the next release.

Currently, you would need to purchase the C++ Source Code and make the change yourself.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. This is Brad again signed in on the correct account. I'll watch this thread and for product updates. We will need libpcre2 support mid this year. We will either be porting the source (we purchased that already) or will renew our USPP if the vendor port is available at that time.
