Schematron Support

Is there any native support in Liquid XML for Schematron? I am building a Schematron validation file and Liquid Studio reports all of the Schematron tags as errors. I imagine that is because the prescribed namespace for Schematron in the ISO standard does not actually contatin an XML Schema that defines the Schematron elements and attributes. I saw that Oxygen has some support for this. Is there anything in the works for Liquid Studio?

Hi Mitchell,

Sorry but we do not currently support Schematron.

I have discussed this with the dev team and it should be fairly easy for us to add Schematron validation, but I cannot provide an implementation date as yet.

Thank you for your response. I would be very interested to hear if and when Schematron validation is planned to be supported in Liquid Studio. Please post a response with any updates.

Liquid Studio 2018 is now available and contains a Schematron editor with validation.
